Make your own MLB Wordle
Pick the mystery MLB player yourself, set how many guesses your friends get, and share one link. Everyone who opens it plays your puzzle, and you see who solved it and in how many tries. Your first challenge is free and nobody needs an account to play it.
How to create your own MLB Wordle
- 1. Choose your answer. Search the MLB pool for the player you want, or hit “surprise me” and take whoever comes up.
- 2. Set the rules. Between three and fifteen guesses, with the higher/lower arrows on or off.
- 3. Share the link. Send it anywhere. Your own runs are practice — the standings only count the people you invited.
What a MLB guess reveals
Every guess is compared against your answer on these categories. Green is an exact match, amber means close on a number, and the arrows point toward the answer.

- Can I pick a pitcher as the answer?
- Yes. Position, bats and throws are all clue categories, so pitchers make for a distinctive puzzle.
- Do my friends need an account?
- No. Playing a shared challenge never requires one. Publishing your own does, because the challenge and its results belong to your account.
- Can I edit a challenge after sharing it?
- No, and that is deliberate: changing the answer under people who already have the link would break their game. Create a new one instead.
- Where do I see the results?
- On the challenge's standings page, and in My challenges alongside every puzzle you have built.
- Can I create a sports Wordle for free?
- Your first published challenge is free. Sign in to publish it; additional challenges require Sportsdle Pro. Friends can play your shared challenge without an account.
- Is this a sports trivia question generator?
- Sportsdle creates a guess-the-player game from its sports database. You choose one mystery athlete and players use feedback from their guesses to find the answer. It does not generate multiple-choice questions or printable trivia sheets.
