Sportsdle ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website or mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Username (optional): The username you choose if you participate in leaderboards.
Game and progression data: Guesses, statistics, achievements, completed games, quest claims, season XP, Ticket transactions, and cosmetic inventory.
Session identifier: A random, non-advertising UUID used for gameplay, progression, leaderboards, purchase verification, analytics, and abuse prevention.
Usage data: App opens, screen views, game starts and completions, feature interactions, Pro offer views, and purchase outcomes.
Device and technical data: Device type, operating system or browser version, IP address in standard server logs, and diagnostic information.
Advertising data (mobile): Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data handled by Google AdMob according to your consent and device settings. On iOS, if you allow tracking, the Meta SDK receives your advertising identifier, app installs and opens, and App Store purchase events. TikTok receives advertising identifiers and app install, open, and retention events when tracking is allowed.
Push notification data: In the mobile app, an Expo push token linked to the random Sportsdle session UUID when you opt in. On the website, if you turn on the daily reminder, the push subscription your browser creates (an address and keys from its push service), your time zone, the last sport you played, your current streak, and the date of your last daily game, so we send at most one reminder a day and none once you have played.
Cookies and local storage: Preferences, gameplay, consent choices, and basic website analytics.

2. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob: Displays and measures mobile advertising and may process device, advertising, and usage data.
Meta (iOS app): Measures which Meta ads lead to app installs. The Meta SDK starts only after you allow tracking in the iOS prompt. It receives your advertising identifier, device and app version data, app installs and opens, and App Store purchase events. It does not receive your username, Sportsdle session UUID, or gameplay. You can turn tracking off at any time in iOS Settings.
TikTok (iOS app): Measures which TikTok ads lead to app installs and returning players. Its SDK starts only after you allow tracking in the iOS prompt and may process advertising identifiers, device and app information, network information, and install, open, retention, and diagnostic events. We do not send your username, Sportsdle session UUID, gameplay, or purchases to TikTok. You can turn tracking off in iOS Settings.
RevenueCat, Apple, and Google: Process purchases and verify Sportsdle Pro entitlements. RevenueCat receives the random Sportsdle UUID, product and transaction status, storefront, and purchase or expiration information.
Expo: Delivers push notifications to users who opt in.
Browser push services (Google, Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft): Deliver the website's daily reminder to browsers that opt in. They receive the notification and the subscription address your browser created, not your username or gameplay.
Vercel and infrastructure providers: Host our services and generate standard security, performance, and access logs.

Sportsdle does not use an email address or advertising identifier as the RevenueCat App User ID.

3. How We Use Information

Provide games, leaderboards, statistics, and challenge functionality.
Synchronize quests, Tickets, season progress, rewards, and cosmetic inventory.
Verify, restore, and support paid Sportsdle Pro entitlements.
Send opted-in game, streak, quest, leaderboard, and challenge notifications.
Serve and measure mobile advertising.
Understand feature usage and improve reliability and user experience.
Prevent fraud, duplicate rewards, cheating, and abuse.

4. Storage and Analytics

On device: Most preferences, gameplay history, statistics, and the selected username are stored locally.
Sportsdle backend: Leaderboard submissions, limited product analytics, progression events, Ticket transactions, quest and season claims, inventory, push tokens, and server-verified Pro status are stored by our backend.
Product analytics: Event properties may contain sport, game mode, plan type, app version, and platform. They do not contain guessed player names, email addresses, or advertising identifiers.
No password account required: Mobile gameplay does not require an email address or password account.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data to:

Service providers that operate advertising, billing, purchase verification, notifications, hosting, and infrastructure.
Authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect Sportsdle and its users.
A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service.

6. Leaderboard Consent

We ask for consent before uploading your username and game results to a public leaderboard.
You can continue playing without joining the leaderboard.
You may request deletion of previously submitted leaderboard data.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Access or deletion: Contact us to request information about or deletion of data associated with your username or Sportsdle session.
Notifications: Disable notifications in Sportsdle or your device settings. On the website, choose "Turn off" under a finished daily game or block notifications for sportsdle.com in your browser; we delete the subscription.
Advertising: Change consent and tracking choices through the app and device settings.
Purchases: Restore purchases in Sportsdle and manage subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
Local data: Clear app or browser storage, or uninstall the application.

8. Children's Privacy

Sportsdle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

9. Security, Retention, and Transfers

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Local data remains until you clear it or uninstall the application.
Backend data is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide progression, purchases, support, security, analytics, and legal compliance.
Information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as Sportsdle changes. The updated date on this page identifies the latest published version.
